Mike and Brad are in New York mixing, Mike is drawing the covers, Joe is working on a video, some dude they work with is filming them for some clips (like their previous DVD), and uhhh I can't explain it-go to the site (link is below somewhere). ~The commercial on MTV for LP is now available on LP.com. ~There is a TON of new info on Lp.com-go there :-) ~the recording process is just about finished, so we're gearing up for the next part of the album-making process: mixing. we're getting together with andy wallace again, who mixed hybrid theory. anyway, we also cut the number of songs down to thirteen, and we'll be cutting one more, i think. and everything sounds just right -- so far so good. (that is directly from lp.com.) i think i figured out their secret message: the new album is due out in march 2003 :-) sounds cool to moi :-) ~Linkin Park is nominated for 2 Billboard Music Awards: Group of the Year, and Best Modern Rock Single (In The End.) They are totally going to win :-). ~Linkin Park is nominated for 2 MTV Asia Awards: Best Rock Act and Best Video. They are kicking butt in the Best Rock category, but are REALLY losing in the Best Video category. (I haven't seen the pics yet, though. When I do, I'll post and you can see! LoL) ~Linkin Park won BEST HARD ROCK and BEST GROUP in the MTV Europe Music Awards. Joe Hahn was in Barcelona to do the acceptance/thank-you speech. ~Linkin Park won BEST FOREIGN ACT on the Swedish Music Awards. He got 47 stitches. ~Chester was sexually abused as a child. ~Chester was arrested for possesion of marijuana at age 18. ~Chester was addicted to cocaine as a teen. ~Chester used to drink but has been sober as of January. ~Chester smokes. ~Chester went to Greenway High School in Phoenix, but graduated from Washington High School (Phoenix) in 1994. ~Chester's previous jobs: land surveyer and coffee barista. ~Chester was in a band called Grey Daze in Phoenix in 1993. They recorded two cd's but never got signed, even though they did get some airplay. Eventually, Chester got tired of the rest of the band taking credit for his lyrics, so he quit. They are now called Waterface (I think), and the lead singer who took his place is a woman. ~One of the members of Grey Daze, Bobby Benish, has a brain tumor. Chester was going to reunite with Grey Daze and have a charity concert on September 7th, but since LP is recording their new cd, he had to postpone it. ***LINKIN PARK (THE GROUP, VIDEOS, ETC...)*** ~Chester's career highlight was making the One Step Closer video. ~Chester says he sees the fans as fans, not an oppurtunity to have an orgasm. ~Chester says when the crowd sings along he gets a hard-on, so he has an erection for an hour every night. Chester said "That was pure evil." lol ~Chester thought Aaliyah was hot. (rest her soul) ~Chester was in a Thespian Groupe in high school. (wutever the hell that is.)
